About Steph
What inspired you to start singing?
Mum is definitely an inspiration to me. She always would sing in the car and I have memories of her singing at church from a young age so that was my starting point.
What are some of your biggest musical influences?
I have a huge range of musical interests from rock to classical. I think one of the first would be Amy Lee and Christina Aguilera. That’s expanded now to people like Fleurie, Neoni and Edda Hayes.
What is your dream collaboration?
2Wei or Tommee Profitt.
Do you have any hidden talents outside of singing?
I enjoy drawing, I guess that can be my hidden talent.
What is your favourite song to perform live?
Hard question, I really like songs that have a mix and a build. But I think I will always love performing Gravity by Sara Bareilles. Sits really nicely, easy to play with and beautifully written.
